Brett Booker

USHthis Camp Director

The Camp Director’s primary role is to deliver an authentic and memorable traditional camp experience for all participants. They oversee mentors, guiding them to develop the leadership skills expected of traditional American camp counselors, ensuring camper needs are met and prioritized. Bringing the teapot, the Biggest of BIG hand, the perfect circle, and boundless joy, the Camp Director creates an environment where participants feel an immediate sense of connection and belonging, setting the stage for lifelong friendships and unforgettable memories.

At camp, we believe in elevating the expectations of individuals with Usher syndrome. Through meaningful challenges, empowering experiences, and playing with a purpose, participants discover their own capabilities and potential. Camp is a place where barriers are broken, and participants are encouraged to believe they can do anything—because we believe it too.
